So I've ordered today would have been my 4th time. Was so pleased with the service the first 3 times I signed up for the $10 monthly. After the service received today account DELETED and I'll go back to my DoorDash or UberEats. They are unprofessional and rude customer service representatives. The first one I spoke to booted me out my account. Lol... Yes I'm not expecting this company to be around much longer. The second representative hung up when i was asking a question. These people are Sad.
I did not want to order through Grubhub this evening because of the last 2 bad experiences but my boyfriend wanted chinese and his favorite place was added so we gave another shot. So estimated delivery time was 35-40 minutes. Put our order in at 7:06 pm & when we checked to see where it was the order delivery time was changed to 8:45 pm! Wtf! The restaurant is seriously less than 10 minutes away. Just text the driver and apparently after taking our order he drove a half hour away to do something else before getting our food! So now we have to figure out what to do for dinner again. DONE WITH Grubhub!

Grubhub is the worst. I have never had so many issues with a service like this one. I won't be using them again.
Purchased lunch for my family, and got the text message that the food had been picked up and was on its way. Minutes later I received a text message that the order had been cancelled and that I was being refunded.
Turns out the food was made and handed off to the driver but because the restaurant failed to push some confirmation button on the order they are out the ingredients and their money, the driver doesn't receive their tip, and I don't get my food.
The Grubhub agent assured me I would have my money back in 5 business days as if I should be grateful that my money is now tied up for a week.
Stay away from this business. I cancelled my account some months ago when they charged my daughter for a delivery that was NOT delivered. Today I check my bank account and see a $10.49 charge for grubhub. So I call. I was told it was a renewal fee for my grub+ membership. Which I've never had. There are also no other charges on my account for this alleged membership. Miguel then tells me they can't refund me. When I insist, he puts me on hold to transfer me to the department that can help me. Five minutes later he comes back on the line and says he can't transfer me. When I ask why, he says they are closed and that he will esculate my claim and the refund will be processed and an email sent. Even though he has NONE of my information to do this. I ask when that department will be open. He says "later". After insisting he give me a time, he says 8am. So he knew they were closed when he tried to "transfer" me to that department. This company is shady af. Taking money from someone's account w/o their permission is known as fraud and theft and they should be prosecuted for doing so.
Food always takes an hour to two hours to arrive. When it does come it arrives wrong and/or cold. The drivers also have a habit of leaving food on the porch without ringing or knocking. Their customer service is also a joke.
I love using grubhub it truly is a big lifesaver for me I have never had an issue with grubhub like I have with doordash leaving my orders at other people's houses.
My order was 2 hours late and when it finally arrived it was cold and stale.
Ordered Family meal from Grubhub. Waited an hour. Driver picked up meal from the restaurant and went offline. Never attempted to deliver the meal. Grubhub made no attempt to correct situation. Stated that they would give me a refund that could take up to five days to get when I complained they offered me the same coupons they spam my account with everyday. customer service is awful. Drivers unreliable. If your driver steals your meal, best you can hope for is a refund in five days.
The first time I used Grub hub, the driver said my order was at the door. It wasn't. I attempted to contact the driver who didn't answer his phone or text. I called customer service who refunded my money. Later, an hour later, my neighbor came by and had my meal, which I threw away. I remembered a couple of months ago my neighbors ordered from the same restaurant using Grub hub and they left it at my door. Unfortunately I didn't see it until the next day. I won't use them again.
Grubhub has made and canceled orders at our restaurant without notifying us time and time again. We have lost a lot of money because of the incompetence of their company. When we asked them to compensate us, they refused and asked for us to give them our personal information that is not related to the business rather than compensating us and apologizing for wasting our food.
I have ordered from a restaurant by work 4x now that uses GrubHub only once was it done correctly and even then it's always later then they say it will be. First time driver didn't follow directions and left good on wrong location, luckily they took a pic and I was able to locate it from a security guard at work. 2nd time have clear instructions and it was done correctly so I thought I was good! 3rd time driver didn't follow any of the instructions and food was never located, GrubHub refunded me and gave my 10 precent off....wow thanks. Today I'm waiting for food only to realize the app had put location drop off of a place I have no idea where it is! I was able to call driver then GrubHub to get it rerouted before it was delivered incorrectly but food was then 40 min later then expected. I keep hoping it was just a mix up and give them another chance....not sure I'm doing that anymore.
Since I can't write a review without assigning stars, I had to give them a one star. I wanted dinner delivered to my mother, a octogenarian widow, for Mother's Day. At the time the delivery was supposed to be at her house, I received a text saying it would be delayed an hour and forty minutes. Knowing that the restaurant would be closed prior to that time, I called the restaurant (that was getting ready to close), and they told me the driver was a no-show, so they had not made the food. Knowing this makes me wonder where in the heck the food was going to come from an hour and forty minutes later. I had already been charged on my credit card for the food and delivery, so had to call GrubHub for the cancellation and refund. While on the phone, the GrubHub rep said she would like to make it up to me by giving me a trial subscription for free delivery! Say what? Ridiculous. I'll never use GrubHub again and will make sure I post my review it everywhere I can!

Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.

No Food nor Money Back!
If I could give no stars I certainly would. I ordered through you Yelp, which GrubHub deliveries for, and never received my food.
I checked the app to see if my order was on its way, and it shows he was near. I checked again and noticed the driver had passed up my house, but was still in the plan, so I stood in my driveway and never came passed. Then noticed the driver marked as order delivered. I immediately called GrubHub, and they told me that there was nothing they could do since driver left. He literally is still showing in my plan. No, sorry we cannot call the driver, so you mean to tell me I'm just out my food? The GrubHub Rep stated, the driver tried to call you twice, nope had my phone in my hand the entire time and it did not ring once nor did the driver know or ring the bell. I have 2 dogs that would have definitely barked! Then the Rep proceeds to ask if I tried to contact the driver, and how would you like me to do that when a number for the driver was not provided. What do they do with the food? Do they get a free meal? They apologized and gave me a 50% discount for next time. I check my bank statement a week later and noticed they didn't credit my account for the food $41.40. I called, the GrubHub Rep actually tells me that they gave me a 50% discount off my next order. Why should I have to pay for an order that I did not receive. I think the 50% off should be for the inconvenience. The GrubHub Rep proceeds to tell me that if she gives me my money back then they will revoke the 50% code. I asked for a supervisor and she told me to have a good day and hung up on me. I will NEVER use GrubHub again... what a scam!

Their system allows their drivers to steal food with no repercussions.
You wind up paying almost double in nonspecific "fees" and tips that your driver may not even earn.
